Mafia Wars AutoPlayer for Facebook Users

For those who play Mafia Wars in Facebook but are too lazy to spend their energy specially stamina (for me), here is a script which will act like an auto player. you just have to open you Mafia wars home page, make your own settings and watch movie :) and let your auto player do the job.

1. First you need Mozilla Firefox or any clone of Firefox. I use Iceweasel.
2. Install Greasemonkey which is the Add-ons for Firefox.
3. Now install Autoplayer script from http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/43573 or just click this link for the latest version of script http://userscripts.org/scripts/version/43573/138210.user.js Make sure you have your Greasemonkey enabled.
4. Now Greasemonky asks you if it can install that script. Click install
5. Login to facebook, open mafia wars. You can see some extra buttons on top of the right corner, just above your experience stats.

click settings. There are many settings you can make like General, Display, Stamina, etc. make your own settings and do not forget to save. Now you can see your Autoplayer doing the job.

Zynga (maker of Mafia wars) keeps on changing their scripts so sometime Autoplayer may not work. You have to keep on visiting the discussion forum on http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/43573 to find latest version and updates.

Add CSS and Images in Codeigniter

This might be useful for those who are starting with Codeigniter. If you are wondering how to put your own css or images then here are simple steps.

Make a folder 'css' for your css files inside root folder.
Then make your css file 'default.css'
To link your view file with css file.

Go to "config" folder (rootfolder/system/application/config)
edit "autoload.php" file

find $autoload['helper'] = array();

add 'url' inside the array.

$autoload['helper'] = array('url');

you can do same with images.

Is Annapurna Circuit really dead ?

Recently I read an article on blog saying Annapurna Circuit is dead. Reason, roads and vehicles on most part of the circuit. You can take jeep or bus from Besisahar to Bhulbule and Muktinath to Beni . When you take a bus from Muktinath to Beni you will skip Kagbeni, Jhomsom, Marfa, Tukche, Kalopani, Lete, Ghasa and Tatopani which are the most beautiful places to visit. If you don't want bus or jeep there are some alternate trails for trekkers but in most part you have to walk along the road made for buses and jeeps. Its quite annoying by the noise of vehicles and makes you feel really fool when there is bus moving by you and you are there walking. So, most trekkers take jeeps and skip those parts. This is definitely not good. Annapurna Circuit which is known as one of the longest, difficult and exciting trekking route is loosing its glory. Adding to these problems there are also some survey going on for Hydro Power project. This means there will be more effect on trekking route in future.

This is only one part of the story but people living in these regions are poor and undeveloped. They don't have facilities of even basic things like Hospitals and Clean drinking water. People die from simple diseases like diarrhea. So they need some means of transportation and I hope everyone is aware of electricity problem in Nepal so Hydro Power projects should also go on.

There is an organization called Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP). Which is for the development of Annapurna area. Now this organization should come up with good plans. It should maintain the originality of the circuit and must make alternate trails for trekkers.

2. Thunderbird: The acclaimed email client from Mozilla. Import your existing mail and enjoy powerful spam protection. Download

3. Pidgin: Pidgin is a chat program which lets you log in to accounts on multiple chat networks simultaneously. This means that you can be chatting with friends on MSN, talking to a friend on Google Talk, and sitting in a Yahoo chat room all at the same time. Download

4. Gimp: It is an acronym for GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed program for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. Download

Minesweeper Cheat (~_^)

Everyone knows about the famous window's game "minesweeper". Its a preset game in every distro of windows. I would like to share simple trick to find mines easily.

1. open minesweeper.

2. press the following keys simultaneously

x, y, z, z, y, enter, shift, enter

Thats all, now roll your mouse over the minefield. you will notice very small white dot on the very top left corner of you screen. Make sure your desktop background is not white so that white dot is visible. When you roll your mouse over the minefield and white dot appears then theres no mine you are safe to click, when white dot disappear then there is mine and mark it as a mine. Good luck.

[Note: Tested only on windows xp, doesnot work in vista]

Have you guys heard about "www.peteranswers.com". This is the site which can answer any question, yes any question. you just ask and peter will answer. Surprised? you must be.
When you enter this site you can see two text boxes one is for Petition and next is for Question. You have to make a petition first and then ask a question. Then peter will tell you the answer.

Petition: Peter, please tell me (enter)
Question: How many girlfriend do Umesh have (enter)
Peter answers: many
Here is how actually this site works. When you are going to make petition start with "."
As you press "." letter "P" automatically appears in text box. Now type your answer (e.g. many) and end with "." i.e, you must type your answer between two "."
When you are typing your answer the actual letter which you are typing won't appear in petition box. Then complete the sentence in Petition box and press enter. Now type your question (e.g How may girlfriend do Umesh have) for the answer which you are ready for and press enter. When you are using this site for first time it shows some warning like not to type confidential and personal information. Accept it and your answer (e.g many) will be on screen.
If you don't understand just visit "www.peteranswers.com" and follow my instructions.
Do some practice, make a nice story like you have a friend named Peter and he can answer any question. Now you are ready to fool your friends.
